Lan Hoang focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters in the areas of financial fraud and asset recovery, intellectual property, business torts, insolvency, professional malpractice, breach of contract and insurance coverage. Her experience involves proceedings in federal and state courts, as well as arbitrations and mediations. Lan served on the Supreme Court of New Jersey District Ethics Committee, District V-A from 2010 through 2014, investigating and prosecuting grievances against New Jersey attorneys charged with unethical conduct under the Rules of Professional Responsibility adopted by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. She also served on ethics hearing panels considering grievances against attorneys.

Lan is on the faculty of the Practicing Law Institute and has served as chair for the New Jersey Basic CLE Marathon. She also is the former co-chair of the firm’s New York Women's Committee, and a current member of the New York office’s Diversity Committee and Recruiting Committee.

Dr. Laurie Kuslansky, expert jury consultant, brings new eyes and insights to veteran litigators. Lori Hager joined the firm at its inception. She practices in the commercial litigation group with an emphasis on intellectual property, and contract disputes. Her practice concentrates on numerous types of claims including copyright, patent and trademark infringement claims, preparation and prosecution of copyright and trademark applications, and the supervision of trademark oppositions.  In addition, Ms. Hager provides general corporate counsel and litigates corporate claims.

Lori has experience in all phases of litigation from discovery through appellate briefing and argument. She is experienced in practicing before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office concerning trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings. She acts as corporate counsel to a number of businesses, consulting in areas that include corporate strategy, structure, copyright and trademark portfolio maintenance, and protection of trade secrets.

In 2015, the New Jersey Supreme Court appointed Lori to serve on the District XA Ethics Committee. Lori regularly presents seminars to educate attorneys, clients and the public on Intellectual Property issues and business ethics. She serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations and donates many hours of her time to pro bono activities.

Lori served as judicial clerk for the Honorable Sybil R. Moses, Assignment Judge for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County for the 2002-2003 term.

The Hon. Frank J. DeAngelis, J.S.C. was appointed as a Superior Court Judge in December 2016 and was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate in January 2017.  Since his confirmation, Judge DeAngelis has served in the Law Division, Civil Part in both Sussex and Morris County.  He was designated the Complex Business Litigation judge for Morris and Sussex County in September 2017.  Judge DeAngelis has presided over trials involving commercial disputes, disputes over the compensation of investment companies, medical malpractice, negligence, breach of contract and civil assault matters, among others. 

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge DeAngelis had over twenty years of experience in domestic and international litigation. His experience included first- and third- party coverage and claims defense, bad faith, multi-layered policy defense of complex property losses, reinsurance, fire/arson losses, and property and casualty defense, all-risk and builder's risk policy defense, weather related catastrophic losses, environmental contamination, business interruption, time element, products liability defense, coal mining losses, defense of travel agents and tour operators under errors and omissions coverage, general commercial litigation, and real estate transactions.

Judge DeAngelis is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and Seton Hall University School of Law, and a member emeritus of the Seton Hall University School of Law Alumni Association. He was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law from 2001 to 2014, and was selected as the Adjunct Professor of the Year in 2009.

Judge DeAngelis is the co-author of New Jersey Insurance Coverage Litigation Treatise: A Practitioner's Guide, N.J. INST. FOR CONTINUING EDUC., A DIV. OF THE N.J. ST. BAR ASS'N (2017).

Judge DeAngelis served as the Chair of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, District V-A Ethics Committee from 2013-2016.  He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Partners for Women and Justice, a non-profit that provides pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence from 2012-2016.

William (Bill) Wilson is a partner with the law firm of Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass.  Since 1998, he has been responsible for running the Firm's New Jersey office.  Bill’s practice focuses primarily on the handling of first-party and third-party insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes.  In addition, he regularly handles commercial contract disputes, and products liability, employer liability, premises liability, and general tort claims.

Bill has over twenty-five years of experience, and has litigated cases in state and federal courts in New Jersey and throughout the United States.  He  is admitted to the New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania bars, the United States Supreme Court, and a number of other federal courts.

He is a frequent lecturer and has published a number of articles on insurance issues and general litigation topics.  He is a co-author of New Jersey Insurance Coverage Litigation - 2015: A Practitioner’s Guide, which is published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, a division of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  Bill also is the author of and is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he taught New York Practice.

CARLOS SANCHEZ is a Partner at the law firm of Lindabury McCormick Estabrook & Cooper, PC, a full service law firm with offices in Westfield, Summit, Red Bank, Manhattan and Philadelphia. Carlos merged his solo practice into Lindabury’s in 2013 with the goal of growing the Real Estate practice group.  He has since grown the practice into a thriving component of the firm’s overall service offerings. Carlos has over 20 years of transactional experience, having represented thousands of clients to purchase and sell real estate.  He has performed an estimated 10,000 closings in his career.
