Jill A. Centella, is a Managing Director, Global Head of Litigation, Government Investigations and Human Resources Legal for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Ms. Centella graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1993 and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1993. Ms. Centella has been with JPMorgan Chase or its predecessor entities since 1997. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Ms. Centella was an associate at Jones, Day in Chicago and was a Law Clerk to the Honorable James F. Holderman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Jill has been married to her husband, Whit Kuhn, a public school teacher, for 23 years, and they have two children. Julia is 21 and Luke is 18.
Marla S. K. Crawford is the General Counsel of Compliance, a leading integrated legal services provider that leverages technology and expertise to simplify the experience of Ediscovery and contract analytics for corporate legal departments and law firms. Marla brings over 30 years’ expertise to her role as general counsel. She is a respected attorney, strategic advisor, and thought leader who speaks regularly on legal technology, electronic discovery, and information governance issues. Marla spent 22 years practicing law at the international firm, Jones Day, specializing in the discovery phase of litigation. She also served as associate general counsel for Goldman Sachs for 11 years where she led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice and focused on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations. Marla’s expertise also includes advising on issues relating to information governance as well as the deployment of new technologies. Marla earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, where she earned her Juris Doctor.
Pierre Gentin is General Counsel of McKinsey & Company, Inc. He was a partner in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel and spent nearly two decades at Credit Suisse where his roles included Global Head of Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement and Employment Law, Head of Reputational Risk for the Americas, and General Counsel for the Research Division. Mr. Gentin also served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Gentin is a Trustee of the Practising Law Institute and Princeton University's Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance. He is co-editor (with Judge Layn Phillips et al.) of a book on the mediation of complex financial disputes and he currently teaches an inter-disciplinary ethics course at the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Gentin attended Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
Mimi is the General Counsel of Litigation for the Institutional Client Group at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Mimi has been with the firm for 32 years and has spent the last 9 years concentrating on credit crisis related litigation and regulatory matters, including RMBS, CDS and CDO related litigations. The group that Mimi manages is responsible for the defense of litigations arising out of, among other areas, the Markets businesses, Investment Banking and the Private Bank.
