Jonathan J. Rikoon, Partner in the New York office of Loeb & Loeb LLP, holds the degree of J.D. from the New York University School of Law. Mr. Rikoon is a former chair of the Trusts and Estates departments at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP and Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon and a former Principal Attorney at the firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. A member of the NYU Law Review and Order of the Coif, he has spoken before bar and law school groups including the University of Miami Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, has chaired Practising Law Institute and other CLE programs for the NY state and city bar associations, and has written for journals including Estate Planning, the New York Law Journal and the Medical Staff Counselor.  Mr. Rikoon co-authored PLI’s Stocker and Rikoon on Drawing Wills and Trusts as well as an estate planning book for business owners and professionals. Mr. Rikoon practices in the area of Trusts and Estates.”

Janine Racanelli, a Vice President of J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, holds the degree of Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and was an editor of the Law Review. Ms Racanelli is co-head of the Wealth Strategy group for the New York City metropolitan region, responsible for estate planning strategy for the firm’s Private Banking clients. Prior to joining Morgan, Ms Racanelli was an associate at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, resident in its New York City office. Ms Racanelli has lectured on estate planning topics in New York City and in the Southeast. She is a member of the New York bar and has served on New York State and New York City Bar Association Committees in the area of trusts and estates. She has been active in pro bono causes and has consulted on legal issues for the Estate Project for Artists with AIDS.

Pamela R. Champine, an Associate Professor of Law at New York Law School, holds the degree of Juris Doctor from Northwestern University, cum laude, and a Master of Laws (Taxation) from New York University School of Law. Prior to joining the faculty of New York Law School, she was Law Secretary to Surrogate Eve Preminger. She has spoken before professional groups as well as published articles in professional and academic journals. She teaches in the area of trusts and estates.
