Understanding the Securities Laws Summer 2013 ( Edition)

Debt securities registered under the Securities Act of 1933 must have an indenture and trustee that are qualified by the SEC and meet the requirements of the Trust Indenture Act of 1939.
Form T-1 is used to determine the eligibility of a corporation to act as trustee under section 305 or 307, as a statement of eligibility of a foreign trustee, or as an application to determine the eligibility of a trustee under section305(b)(2).
The form must be file with the SEC and includes instructions.
