Description: Real estate and lanlord/tenant issues can be very important to brand owners and fashion retailers. When opening a brick-and-mortar store it is important that the lanlord does all necessary construction and repairs by the move-in date. To encourage the landlord to make the space ready this lease contract clause provides for rent abatement and termination if the landlord does not substantially complete their obligations.
