Internet Domain Name Escrow Agreement

Book Publication Date: Jun 2020
Description: The right domain name may be very valuable to an organization and they will want to own it both for their own use and to prevent others from using it. Domain names may be transferred with a relatively simple purchase agreement. However, because ownership does not actually transfer until the domain name registrar changes the registration information, these transactions are done through escrow agents. This sample escrow agreement for a domain name purchase agreement assures the buyer that ownership has changed hands before the seller receives payment.
