Leonard P. Goldberger, Esquire is a shareholder in Stevens & Lee, and a member of its China Practice Group, Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group, and Higher Education Group. Lenny has over 40 years of experience in business bankruptcy law and, since 2008, had been representing Chinese investors in the acquisition financially distressed US businesses and assets and other China-US business-related matters. Lenny is a former Vice President, Director and Executive Committee member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has also been Chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Insurance Coverage Subcommittee on Insolvency and is a member of the ABA’s Litigation Section and its Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. Lenny is also a member of INSOL International, and an INSOL International Global Insolvency Fellow. He has had articles on China-related topics published in China Daily, INSOL World, Journal of Corporate Renewal, Inforuptcy, China Brain, SME Investments & Financing Magazine, Invest USA Weekly Digest Newsletter, and 4th Annual Conference of China Bankruptcy Law Forum. He has served as a contributing editor on the editorial boards of the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal and INSOL World.
