Over the course of her thirty-two-year career, Ms. Collins’ practice has included class action litigation, complex commercial and business litigation as well as securities litigation with an emphasis on responsibilities of direc-tors and officers including related insurance coverage issues. Ms. Collins has represented companies, officers and directors in shareholder liti-gation and derivative litigation matters arising from financial report-ing irregularities, stock option backdating, and M&A. In addition, Ms. Collins had a wide-ranging insurance litigation practice that has included cases involving securities products of life insurance com-panies and other insurance-related securities, unfair competition and non-compete agreements, as well as all manner of consumer class actions.
