William Cravens counsels clients in state and federal courts across the United States, focusing his practice on general commercial litigation, intellectual property and antitrust litigation, and products liability and toxic tort defense. William authors articles on Sunshine in Litigation statutes and is a member of the Sedona Conference on Confidentiality Agreements and Protective Orders. He also writes on International Islamic law.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, William was a partner in the litigation practice of another international law firm. William works extensively with telecommunications and technology companies to resolve litigation issues at the intersection of intellectual property law and antitrust, and particularly in the context of technical standards development.  He also represents financial institutions and other companies in complex commercial litigation.  He has tried cases in federal and state courts across the country.

In addition to his legal career, William spent ten years as an Intelligence Officer in the US Navy Reserve, including a tour on active duty in Iraq in 2007.
