Barbara Graves-Poller is a Supervising Attorney at MFY Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm that has a fifty-year history of providing free representation to low income and working poor New Yorkers. Before joining MFY, Ms. Graves-Poller was an Emerging Political Leaders Fellow with the Office of Public Advocate and a clerk to the Hon. George B. Daniels in the Southern District of New York. She also was an associate at the law firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP and Friedman, Kaplan, Seiler & Adelman LLP where she focused on complex commercial litigation. Ms. Graves-Poller received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and an MA. in human rights education from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education.
