Patent Jury Obviousness Instructions

Description: In an effort to clarify and expedite patent trials the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) has created templates for model jury instructions in patent cases. This form contains templates for jury instructions regarding the four-factor test for obviousness, which evaluates the scope and content of prior art, the differences between the prior art and the claimed invention, the level of ordinary skill in the art, and any factors indicating nonobviousness.
